Quest: A Six Part Plan for Living a Happy and Successful Life.
This presentation outlines the "Six Kinds of Best"
concept as a guiding framework for living a good life, and for the
achievement of potential. It complements the National Values for
Australian Schools framework with a memorable and repeatable message
that embeds the 'good values' focus in the minds of students. The
presentation encourages students to respect themselves, others and
the environment, and to consider themselves as lifelong learners
who are committed to achieving their potential and making a positive
contribution to the community.
Discover the SIX KINDS OF BEST! . Students will:
* Learn about "Six Kinds of Best" concept and how
it can help them in life, school and work.
* Become familiar with the four basic needs of humans and how to
fulfill them.
* Learn about the importance of developing positive relationships.
* Discover "keys" which will help guide them on a path towards a
happy and successful life.
NB: The six kinds of best are: Be Kind to Yourself,
Be Kind to Others, Be Kind to the Environment, Be the Learning kind,
Be the Achieving Kind, and Be the Community Kind.
David Koutsoukis is the creator of the Values Education
Toolkit Series and Poster Set. These resources have activities which
teachers can use to reinforce the content of the program.

Quality Friendships and Relationships
This presentation works on the premise that relationships
are the foundation of all achievement. Successful people in this
world are those who develop positive relationships with others.
This program will give students key strategies to help them build
and strengthen their relationships with others at school, in the
home, at work and in the wider community.

Students will:
* Learn about the power of Karma.
* Recognise how to earn the respect of others.
* Learn how to develop good people skills.
* Discover the four things they do that will determine whether other
people like them or not.
* Learn how to build win-win relationships.
Team Building and Leadership Activities
Interaction Action! Fun Team Building
for Students
This practical program will take students through
a wide range of ice breakers, mixers, problem solving activities,
leadership games and fun team building activities. These activities
are suitable for a variety of purposes in schools including: special
days, student council programs, camps, socials, faction competitions
or year group activities.
This program is tailored to suit the needs of your
group and can be used in conjunction with other presentations.
Student Leadership
The Five Star Student Leadership Program
This program is designed for student councillors to
boost their effectiveness as individuals and as a team. It aims
to give them some direction and purpose to their role as student
leaders, and encourages them to continue their leadership journey
beyond their stint as a student councillor.
The FIVE STAR LEADERSHIP PROGRAM is made up of the
following modules:
1. Values Centred Leadership. How to be a good leader
by being a person of good character and providing a positive role
model.
2. Leading People. How to be a good leader by inspiring and harnessing
the energy of individuals to work together towards worthwhile goals.
3. Public Speaking Skills. How to be a good leader by gaining the
confidence of people through good public speaking skills.
4. Serving the Community. How to be a good leader by serving the
school, local and global communities.
5. Continuing the Leadership Journey. How to learn and grow as a
leader and achieve your leadership potential.
The program is tailored to suit the needs of your
student leadership group and can incorporate team building activities.
