Effective and Fullfilling Teaching and Learning
The Ultimate Framework for Learning and Life: A holistic approach for effective and fulfilling teaching and learning

Discussions about the morale and resilience of the modern day teacher are very common. Most would agree that societal pressures and an ever-increasing workload are making the role of an educator even more demanding. This is why educators need to consider the connection between ‘how they live their lives’ and ‘how they teach’, and how this connection ultimately determines their effectiveness in the classroom. Successful teachers are not only skilled classroom practitioners, but also skilled in the ‘game of life’.  The 'Ultimate Framework for Learning and Life' identifies key areas educators need to consider in order to have an effective, fulfilling and sustainable teaching career, and of course produce great outcomes for students.

A summary for this program can be found in the article ‘The Ultimate Framework for Learning and Life’ by David Koutsoukis

Leading Learning Leaders: How to supercharge staff morale and motivation and have them saying “Thank God It’s Monday!”

The life of an educator is extremely complex.  In this day and age we not only teach, but act as curriculum expert, psychologist, security guard, social events coordinator, accountant, counsellor, surrogate parent and so on. Sometimes schools are so consumed with curriculum development, behaviour management, assessments and accountability that staff can be left feeling tired and frustrated. As School Leaders, we need ensure that we don’t ‘cook the goose that lays the golden egg’. In other words, we need to look after our people! This light hearted, but poignant presentation will outline strategies for nurturing staff in order to achieve great outcomes for students.
